Wilder World Launches Super Early Access FPS at Gamescom in Partnership with Samsung, Featuring $100K Tournament

This is Wilder World’s second game mode, expanding beyond the wildly popular Wilder Wheels racing mode launched in 2024. The FPS debut represents a new era for Wiami – Wilder World’s massive open world metaverse.
On August 20 at Gamescom, gamers will get their first taste of Wilder World’s high-intensity FPS action. Anyone can compete, with qualifiers running from August 25 to September 9, playoffs from September 10 to 15, and the finals on September 24 live in a special, yet to be revealed location, where the top five players will be flown in, all expenses paid. Gamescom attendees can also claim a Samsung-branded playable POAP NFT, usable throughout Wilder World, simply by tapping the on-site NFC towers.
The launch comes as WILD, Wilder World’s native token, is in the middle of a breakout run fueled by a series of achievements. The Lamborghini partnership saw the Temerario collection sell out in just four minutes. The launch of Wiami.fun introduced a UGC engine enabling anyone to create tokenized skins and assets to be used inside Wilder World. Operation Titan unveiled a multi-million-dollar WILD buyback program. Metropolis delivered a lore-rich explainer of the Wilder World economy. CYPHER established a new US Treasury vehicle to tap into TradFi to fund ecosystem growth.
